Founded in 1962 by Jean
Bousquet, Cacharel is one of France's most celebrated home-grown labels. The
design is now helmed by Ling Liu and Dawei Sun - previously at Balenciaga and
Yves Saint Laurent respectively - who have carried on the brand's history of easy-to-wear
shirting in playful prints and charmingly feminine separates with relish.
Famous the world over for a sense of youthfulness and refinement, Cacharel
garments work against a too-easy characterisation of girly or overly feminine
with the introduction of utilitarian silhouettes and unexpected fabrications.
