CO|TE is the product of
the creative vision of Italian designers - and friends - Tomaso Anfossi and
Francesco Ferrari. The pair met at Milan's Instituto Marangoni and graduated
with degrees in fashion design. CO|TE emerged later as a celebration of their ideal
muse; a curious, stylish, thoroughly modern woman. An elegant riff on
structures and the junction between casual dressing and tailoring, the duo are
constantly inspired by themes that include lightness, gravity, freshness and
playfulness. The resulting collections of tailored shirt-dresses and
suede/leather mix accessories in graphic pop colours interspersed with
monochromatics is an articulation of understated chic.
