Wade Jensen and Moire Conroy met
as classmates in 2003 at the school of The Art Institute of Chicago
and by 2009 the label Jensen-Conroy was established. Working out of
their studio in Brooklyn, the two find their inspiration from a
mutual interest in textile design and sculpture and their surroundings -
artists, musicians, and designers. Combining non-traditional materials with innovative techniques, the line is ethereal
and timeless, provoking a juxtaposition of nostalgia and newness.
