Melbourne-based,
French-born designer, Estelle Dévé is changing all the rules. Born into a long
line of artists and designers, Dévé has been blending metals, re-shaping
traditional jewel forms, and hand-crafting raw metals since she was a young
girl.
Now in her third commercial collection, the jewellery designer Estelle Dévé, is
taking all four corners of the world by storm. With editorial coverage in
publications like ELLE Singapore, Vogue Australia, Oyster, Nylon Japan, YEN and
RUSSH, and online mega-havens like Another, The Daily Mail, and The Guardian,
Estelle Dévé is proving to have created a truly universal style. Estelle's
jewellery collections are lost pieces from an imaginary past; retro-celestial
archetypes imagined by science fiction visionaries of Seventies music and film.
They are reminiscent of pieces fallen from space shuttles disengaging from the
heavens, with cuffs and necklaces of beaten leathers , crystallized jewels and
blended raw metals.
